Where should I stay?
We have hotel blocks at the Westin Michigan Avenue and Claridge House - more information is available on the "accommodations" tab. If you do not want to book in the hotel block, we recommend staying near Lincoln Park for the easiest commute to the venue!
What time will the ceremony begin?
We are planning to start the ceremony promptly at 5:00pm.
Is the wedding venue accessible?
Yes! Theater on the Lake is fully accessible for wheelchair and mobility assistance device users. If you have specific concerns about accessibility for the wedding day, please reach out to Becca and Isaac and we will make sure everything is in place for you to fully enjoy the day!
Are other locations for wedding events easily accessible?
Thursday's cubs game will require attendees to climb multiple flights of stairs. However, Thursday's post-game plans at Big Mini Putt Club will occur only on the main floor of the building.
Friday's event space offers an elevator to access the welcome drinks area.
If you have specific concerns about accessibility for these events, please reach out to Becca and Isaac.
Can I bring someone not listed on my invitation?
Only those specifically named on your invitation are invited to attend. If your invitation lists "and guest," you will be able to fill in your guest's information when you RSVP.
Can I bring children?
Our wedding is adults-only. We encourage you to take a night off and come enjoy an evening with us!
If you are interested in bringing your children to Thursday's Chicago Cubs game, please reach out to Becca and Isaac to coordinate.
What if I can't make it?
We understand if you can't make it for absolutely any reason and we look forward to celebrating with you in the future! Please make sure to RSVP "no" when you receive your invitation.
Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
It depends on the weather! Our venue can accommodate changes up until the morning-of. If the weather is clear, we expect our ceremony to be outside.
What is the dress code for the wedding day?
Black Tie Preferred
What does "Black Tie Preferred" mean?
We’d love for everyone to dress up and make the night feel special! "Black tie preferred" generally means tuxedos or dark suits with a tie and long dresses or dressy outfits.
When in doubt - wear something you feel great in and that will allow you to dance the night away with us!
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes - there is parking at the venue! We will also be running a shuttle to and from the Westin and Claridge House, and the venue is accessible via public transit and car service.
Where can I park for the Cubs game?
We encourage everyone who can to take public transit to the Cubs game, as traffic can become difficult to navigate during games. If you wish to drive, we recommend booking parking in advance. Information about parking can be found at https://www.mlb.com/cubs/ballpark/transportation/parking.
What do I need to bring to the Cubs game?
Please bring a photo ID. The rooftop attendants will use this to check you in based on our guest list and will provide you with a lanyard to access the rooftop.
I have so many more questions about the Cubs game - where can I find answers?
You can find answers to almost all Wrigley Rooftop-related questions here: https://www.wrigleyrooftopsllc.com/faqs
Where can I park for Friday's welcome drinks?
There is limited paid street parking available near Dovetail Brewery. We recommend you explore public transit or car service options if you plan on drinking at the event. More information can be found at https://www.dovetailbrewery.com/visit-us.
Is there an afterparty?
We are having our afterparty on-site at Theater on the Lake from approximately 11:30pm-1am. We will be switching over from the band to a DJ for the afterparty.
I have more questions - who can I reach out to?
We will be regularly posting updates on this website. If your question isn't answered yet, please check back here as the wedding weekend approaches. If you have an urgent question, reach out to Isaac and Becca and we will respond as soon as we are able.
